Interests

Since I was a little kid I've always loved movies and TV shows. I've always been interested in the plot and character development in movies. Recently I went on a film tour in Atlanta with one of my uncles. One of the big shows that is filmed in Atlanta is The Walking Dead. I bet any fan of The Walking Dead immediately recognized the background picture for this page as being the entrance to Atlanta. It is an iconic scene in The Walking Dead when the protagonist, Rick Grimes, enters the abandoned city in hope of finding his family. Here are a few pictures I took in Atlanta.

This is actually the house of Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead. My uncle brought me to the house because he lives right by it. I love being able to see places like this compared to what they looked like in the film themselves.

Here is another big moment in The Walking Dead. In the show this place is called "Terminus" and it is portrayed as a safe-zone from the rest of the world. However in the real world it's just another part of Atlanta.

This is a picture of a park I took about a mile away from my uncle's house. This park is famous for it's use in the first episode of The Walking Dead.

This area of Atlanta is called "The Gulch." It is used in many different films including Fast and Furious. The Gulch has become a popular place for filming because of its unique scenery and looks.

This is a brigde that leads into the city of Atlanta. It is used in both The Walking Dead as Rick Grimes arrives to the city, and it was used to film Marvel's new movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
