"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart."

My name is Jaci Cotaquispe and I go to Natick High School. I am in ninth grade and I'm in the Intro to Web Design class. This year I have learned how to code and create an attractive website. I also learned how to use photoshop and how to incorporate those skills into making this website. I used many design principles to make this website. The font is easy for the viewer to read and there is repetition in the color scheme. The most important thing I learned was HTML and CSS and how they work together to create amazing websites. HTML and CSS tags, such as div and paragraph tags, helped me build this website.

I have learned a lot of code in only one semester thanks to the Web Design class. Taking this class has given me an appreciation for code, and whenever I see a website I immediatley wonder what code was used and what the coder did. HTML and CSS is only a small section in code, I hope to one day learn more about other types of code. I have learned so much this semester and plan on making more websites. I believe that all this information could be very helpful to me in the future, and plan on expanding my knowledge of code.
