In the fall, we did a musical. It was A Midsummer Night's Dream as a rock opera. The music came from the 50s and the 80s, so we made costumes inspired by those decades. It was a really cool first show for me.
In the winter, we did a student run show called Fostered. It was about a woman and the different kids she fostered. It was written and directed by 2 seniors. We only had about a month to work on it, but it turned out really good!
In the spring, we did the play You Can't Take It With You. It was a comedy about a strange family with one normal daughter. It was funny, but it also had a good message about the important family. The best part was that it had firework effects with a smoke machine. It was a great way to end the year of drama.
