My favorite thing to do, especially when I'm on vacation, is take pictures. Being able to capture candid moments is so amazing to me. Whether it's landscapes or people I just love being able to capture these memories and be able to look back on them in such a vivid light. Ever since I was younger I loved looking at old pictures from when my mom and dad were younger or when they went on vacations or had family gatherings. Some pictures show a moment after somebody just told a joke and everyone is mid-laugh or where you can catch a glimps of a really old telephone. There is something so conforting to see people like that, not posing for a picture, but being genuinely happy. Also being able to remember old times is really great. As well as people I love taking just normal landscape pictures whether from in the city or on a beach. The following shows a small collection of some of my favorite pictures from New York City, Puerto Rico and Cape Cod. All taken by me :)
