All About Allie

Design

The first project my class completed in Intro to Web Design was the Express Yourself project. This project taught students to use Photoshop in a positive and creative manner. After taking a photo of myself, I filled the photo with words that described myself. These words included characteristics of myself, hobbies and interests I have, information about my family, and about my education. Afterwards, I filled the background with quotes that really inspire me. Not only did I learn a lot about myself through words and quotes, but I was also able to learn a lot about other classmates taking Intro to Web Design with me. Three classmates I learned a lot about include Lucas, Catilin, and Julianne. Lucas is a sophomore like me and loves to fish and play soccer. He is diligent and responsible and even traveled to Germany this past February. Catlin is a senior who enjoys doing math and singing. She loves shopping in New York City and spending time and learning from her family. Julianne is a freshman who is enjoying her first year at a public school. She has gotten involved in Model UN and Speech Team at Natick High and outside of school she loves to dance. Throughout the Express Yourself project, I was able to learn so much about other classmates and myself, which allowed me to be open-minded and create strong relationships with the other students in my Intro to Web Design class.
