I have been dancing at Impulse Dance Center for 12 years, since 2002. Everyday it inspires me and allows me to express myself. Through out my years, I have tried various types of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and lyrical. I have also been an assistant teacher for 4 and 5 year olds.

I have been able to participate in Nutcracker preformances, as well as the Pulse Convention. The Pulse is a dance tour where dancers from all over the world are taught by the choreographers of famous singers, movies, and tv shows. The Pulse experiene allowed me to learn with the coreographers for So You Think You Can Dance, Step Up, as well as the coreographers for Britany Spears, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez.

My years of dance have allowed me to be involved in many programs that so many people are not privileged enough to be a part of, and I am so greatful.

Without dance, I would not be the person I am today. Many of the frienships I have made started in my very first dance class. The way I act and choices I make are influenced by my dancing.
